Your boyfriend’s twin calls you and starts the conversation by saying, “hey sis-in-law”!

He’s in town visiting and came into my bar on a pub crawl. I stopped him and apologized for choosing sides in a difficult situation from last year. Honestly, I could have acted better but I got put between a rock and a hard place and didn’t see another option. I’m only 19 and sometimes I make mistakes. Unfortunately our friendship was a casualty of that. He told me he doesn’t think we’ll ever be friends again and after he left I bawled my eyes out. I feel awful, but I understand. I completely turned my back on him. I’m really glad I got the chance to apologize though. He may not forgive me but at least I tried. Can’t really do any more than that except accept it as a learning experience and not make the same mistake again.
“Do you know anything about hockey?” Don’t bother asking any Canadian girl such a question!
I ended up staying out way later than I wanted to because a friend of mine from another sorority refused to leave and we’d made plans to leave together. Thank god I have the best roommate ever- he just happened to be awake at 3am and since he gets up for work at 430 he wasn’t planning on sleeping again. He came and picked me and the other girl up (plus another sister of mine) and drove us all home.
I met this guy who was so much fun though! I told him straight up that I have a boyfriend, so we just danced for the last hour. By the end we were the only ones dancing, but he knew how to two-step, and he was swinging me around and dipping me. He was such a sweetie; he told me that he respected me for being upfront with him and being loyal to my man. And that J is the luckiest man in Vancouver because I gave him hope that he would meet amazing women again (him and his ex of two years had broken up only two days before). Before I left I wished him luck and told him he’d meet the girl of his dreams yet. I’m sure he will, the other girls were teasing me cause I was dancing with one of the best looking guys in the bar!
Overall, besides spending too much money, it was a fantastic night! I can’t believe I’ve never been to the Bourbon before (it’s the only country bar in the city!). I will definitely be spending more time there!

You’re absolutely right! I should have! Luckily (or unluckily depending how you look at it) for me, the food won’t last long. J is so excited about my massive cooking day that I’m sure it’ll be long gone before February even hits!
- Me: Tips toes quietly through the house, trying not to make a sound.
- Everyone else: Let me just stomp throughout the house, slam a bunch of doors, and bang some pots together in the kitchen, I'm sure no one will mind.
His only words on the subject: “I just couldn’t imagine you kissing anyone but me that night”.
When you put your letters on tumblr, you represent more than just yourself. You are always representing your Sorority.
This is not aimed at anyone, I’d just like us to keep it classy, nice, and appropriate on tumblr considering that we all represent our letters.
And I’ve got a chicken recipe in the pot right now to make shredded chicken!
But I’m lost for what to eat right now…
